  Funeray boat, Sphinx, papyrus factory.

  Day 4 Mon, Oct 4 - Saqqara; Djoser complex, Sun Temple of Ra at Abu

  Ghurob; private evening meditation in King’s Chamber of

  Great Pyramid.

 

  Day 5 Tue, Oct 5 - Dashur; Red pyramid and Bent pyramid; or shopping at

  Khalili Bazaar; (optional) evening sound and light show

  at pyramids.

  Day 6 Wed, Oct 6 - Morning flight to Luxor; check-in and lunch aboard Nile

  Beauty cruise boat; afternoon visit to temples of Luxor and

  Karnak.

 

  Day 7 Thu, Oct 7 - Morning bus ride to Abydos, visit temple of Seti I and the

  Osirian.Visit the Hathor temple of Dendara;

 

  Day 8 Fri, Oct 8 - Valley of the Kings and valley of the Queens; Hatshepsut’s

  temple. The Rammeseum, the Colossi of Memnon; hand-

  woven carpet factory; alabaster factory; evening sail to

  Esna.

 

 

  Day 9 Sat, Oct 9 - Esna; temple of Khnum; leisurely afternoon sail to Edfu.

  Day 10 Sun, Oct 10 - Edfu; Morning horse drawn carriage ride to Horus temple;

  afternoon sail to Kom Ombu; twin temple to Horus and

  Sobek.

 

  Day 11 Mon, Oct 11 - Aswan; Early morning visit to Isis temple; Granite quarry

  and unfinished obelisk; felucca ride to Elephantine Island.

 

  Day 12 Tue, Oct 12 - Early morning flight to Cairo, Zaytun church of the

  apparition of the Blessed Mother; Cairo museum; evening

  meditation and ritual at Mena House.

 

  Day 13 Wed, Oct 13 - Free day to rest or shop; special farewell dinner at

  Ahmed’s; overnight return flight to JFK.
